I'm definitely interested in purchasing a 36M in the near future because of its versatility. However, I'm seeing videos of the finish bubbling off after the suppressor gets hot. What up with that?

Cerakote can have finish issues over time, the newer high temp formula is much better. Also, suppressors can be refinished if there an issue!

Mine was approved yesterday after 379 days. I went with paper on this one and a trust. My first one was a huxwrx 762 and took 1 day short of 6 months with e-file. I'm still waiting on my last one for a .22 cal. Honestly the 762 suppressor works on my .22 pistop just fine though just a little heavy 😂

So which thread adapter would be best for my bolt gun? The direct thread or the ASR/muzzle brake ?
@SilencerShop
@SilencerShop Жыл бұрын
If you intend to run it primarily suppressed the direct thread is good to go, if you're swapping the suppressor to different hosts, or occasionally shoot unsuppressed, the ASR muzzle brake might be a better choice. - Chase

On a bolt action I found direct thread was the best. I got evo's for permanent direct thread to my hunting rifles (sig cross) I use the quick change adapters/muzzle breaks for my semi auto rifles and pistols...I use a hybrid46/omega36m for those. If you wait for the sales you can get them for 30% off a few times every year from silencerco.

I'm in the market for a multi-cal suppressor (it'll be my first suppressor) since I dont want to have to pay a bunch of tax stamps and all that buggery and I wanted to know how much back pressure this thing generates? I have a Radian Raptor charging handle on my AR that I'll mainly be using this on, and I was curious about that since I'm concerned about breathing in a bunch of lead gasses. I've been looking at this, the Banish 30, and the Dead Air Sandman, and even the Hybrid 46M. I plan to use whatever suppressor I get on my AR, my precision rifle, my Scorpion, and my Home Defense pistol. I was also curious about point of aim/impact shift when taking the can on and off. I'm a novice when it comes to suppressors. 😖

For the applications you listed I would consider the Omega 36M and Rugged Alaskan 360, both will be fairly low back pressure on your AR due to the oversized bore allowing for gas to pass through quickly. The 36M is modular which can be nice for use with your handguns, but the Alaskan is lighter overall. - Chase

@@SilencerShop Alright. That sounds pretty promising. :) What about the point of aim/impact shift? I also looked at some online reviews for the 36M and they said it's unserviceable if I remember correctly, does that mean that it's fairly hard to clean/disassemble?

@@jaredcaldwell4270 I'm doing the same as you now Jared but I do shoot 45 acp. None are threaded though. New to this like you. What did you end up going with, how do you like it and would you choose the same if you did this over. Any help is appreciated. I looked at the Alaskan but I read a comment saying it could not be direct attached to ⅝x24 without other accessories that don't come with it.

I haven't purchased one yet since I'm still saving up for one, however, if you're in the market for a multi-cal suppressor that can shoot 45 as well, then you could go with the Hybrid 46 from Silencer Central or the Dead Air Primal. The Hybrid 46 seems pretty similar in terms of features except for the fact that it's not modular like the 36M is. You can't make it into a short configuration unfortunately. I don't think the Primal does either, but if that's not a concern then either would be pretty good. I don't know how they do in terms of gas blowback or point of impact shift (how much will your groups be affected when taking the can off/putting it on). I know the Primal is about $800 to $900 and the Hybrid 46 is $1,100+ MSRP. I'd try to find as many reviews as possible of them or any others that you come across to see which might be best for you. Best of luck, man. :) @@kentuckywindage222
