Huge Tip If you like playing with those inflatable balls in the grocery store or $1 dollar store, then you'll LOVE a silent ball. If you don't like those inflatable balls because they are too light in weight (feels like you are bouncing nothing), then MOST LIKELY you WON'T LIKE a silent ball. Silent basketballs do weigh more than those inflatable balls, but they still have a similar feel. If you own a silent ball, what do you like or don't like about them!

Thank you so much for this video. We live in a co-op and my son is developing a love for basketball. I've been reviewing Amazon all day and couldn't come up with a choice until I saw your video. I'm going with Wawawea. Thanks so much for this review. Wish I saw it earlier. Would've saved me a day.

It's great practice in the home, especially if they find it fun! Can definitely be a good idea, any method that captures the mind of a young player in my book is a huge win!

Thanks for the thorough review. Can these be used outside too to avoid making too much noise for the neighbours or would they wear out really quickly ?

They would eventually wear out on rough surfaces. The foam also has pores and is spongy, it would start gathering and absorbing dirt and little rocks. Ultimately, it really all depends on the surface. If the surface is smoothed and somewhat clean, it could work nicely outside. Here are some examples: a patio with smooth paver stones, a wood porch that is evenly distributed, a garage with a smooth concrete finish, and even on an outdoor rug or that synthetic/artificial grass that is thin and soft. Just imagine where you are going to use it. It can get a little dirty too, just like an outdoor basketball. Hope this helps and have some fun!

Thanks for the review and your efforts. I'm also interested in a silent basketball. I got a generic one from China, but I'm not happy with the bounce. What would be really great would be if you make bounce test: so the generic in one hand and the Wawawewa in the other. And then just let it fall to see how high they bounce (without any force). So we can see high they bounce.

Do one with the new Official Silent Basketball + from WAWAWEWA! That one has real grooves like a basketball. Seems like a great choice. All these other generic ones are pretty cheap and fall apart. In The Lab ball was really bad. Very light and not good quality at all..

The generic one is 29 inches, I measured all around it. A regular basketball is going to be 29.5 inches.

From all of these, the Wawawewa was my favorite one, has the best bounce and weight, and the built quality was 👌👌

@Tectatron I'm going to do a new video next week with all the silent balls but for me it's pretty much going to be Wawawewa Original Model or the In The Lab 3.0. They're both equally good and weight about the same only difference is the 3.0 is going to be a bit more slippery because of the material over it which would make it a good tool for improving. I still like the Wawawewa original since it sticks a bit more to the hands so you'll have a bit more control indoors. Tell your Pops you will do some extra chores around the house for it, who knows that might work. Also I was planning on doing a silent ball giveaway in 2 months or so, once I post the video comment on it. If I can do it sooner, I will, just busy with work and traveling.

Yes with free shipping of course!! If with shipping it cost the same as the Wawawewa I would personally go with the Wawawewa since it weighs more and I like how it feels better. But if you like a jet black ball with a slight coating over it, then go with the In The Lab! All preference! Hope this helps 👍👍

Doesn't happen often, but this is the 3rd time someone has asked that. I don't have a link since I bought them in store, but I'll give you a cheat code. I got these at Nordstrom Rack or TJ Maxx, I don't recall which one specifically. My girl loves to shop, like everyone other woman out there. Have noticed that in those types of stores, sometimes I'll find shorts that are longer, not always but you just have to look. Online or in-person stores that have all the latest gear have shorter shorts (that's been the new trend for a while now), I don't mind but sometimes you want longer shorts. Now when my girl wants to go, I tag along a bit more since been finding some gems! Hope this helps Bro 💯👍👌👌
