My man!! Roger Foley!! This guy's diligence and personal legwork is a clear testament of how serious he'd been taking this matter. His options were limited but he had a real, "If it's going to be, it's up to me," attitude. I imagine it can be tough to hear sob stories, everyone has one. However, this is a testament of a man's character. Kudos to you Mr. Foley! I've only commented once prior but this scenario is simply the definition of doing the right thing.

This guy is very lucky the Court accepted his motions. Usually if there is an attorney who already filed his appearance the Clerk wont accept Pro Se Motions or correspondence unless the Motion is to dispose of the attorney of record. Maybe the attorney hadn't filed his appearance yet? Lame attorney either way. Good on you for helping out, I do this every day now. Good for the heart.

You are right, if represented a defendant should not file anything. The court did not hear them but they were filed. Accordingly, we drafted motion and placed on docket.

yeah, I wasnt allowed to file any motions or anything with a public defender thats been working against me. I havent met them, its really confusing on who they are. I cant get anyone to watch my videos about my case either. They are trying to do mass damage to me over barely touching people.

You're a good person. Not necessarily for reducing your price, although that's a bit of a bonus. Fact you can see how messed up it is and willing. Wish I had a lawyer like that. Who I hired...didn't even discuss as much as strategy.

so what does one do when the hired attorney inadequately answers emails and does not address all your concerns and when you ask the questions while quoting laws and their response is "i don't have time for your silly questions that are not relevant" or attorney gas lights the client. also doesn't have good or much of any strategy and im the one that did the talking in the court room and negotiated. I refuse to pay anymore money for inadequate counsel and i cant afford a new guy also my case is just about resolved via plea deal. im most worried about the bad attorney taking me to claims court

My 14 yr old son has been charged simple battery, can his Public Defender keep me out of their meetings? My son wants me in attendance.... thanks
