Hello, how do you follow the route? Where can we download it for offline? Also, is there a market at regular intervals to buy food? Finally, in which months would you recommend walking?

I used Gaia GPS to plot the route but there are more apps to do the same thing. I have not made my particular route available for download but I can email you the GPX files if your interested. There are many places along the way to buy food so basically everything can be solved along the route, but I chose to send up 2 boxes of food and gas in advance where I knew it was a little longer between the shops. I would say that the best time is the end of June to the end of September, if you start too early there is a risk that it is very wet in the ground and there may be snow left at some places, you should also consider that there may come snow at the end of September especially far north. If you start in Treriksröset and go south you can start the hike later in the season.

Det beror nog lite på, om jag skulle gå gröna bandet igen skulle jag nog inte ta med fiskespö. Men det var trevligt att fiska när det väl blev av mest då jag tog vilodagar
