I always loved the section where you're going deeper and deeper underground, the world getting more distorted as you go, as if descending into hell itself. It's like James is burrowing deep into his own Psyche and it's all covered in rust and decay as if he hasn't visited this part of his mind in a long time.

Those prisoners are disturbing as hell The details that make them disturbing,is the fact that when James turns to them,he looks UP(as seen at 8:10).Most enemies James faces are either small or his height(even the notorious Pyramid Head is the same height as James),so it's very jarring seeing James look UP just to aknowledge them. Kinda glad these guys are locked behind bars.

I remember getting silent hill 2 back in 2007 for 5 bucks and I remember being lost in this area for hours because of not having the map I figured it was designed like that 😂

Every time i see this part of the game, with all the big holes You have to jump down i always wonder how james not injured or got broke legs Either he's super human or the ground He hits is super soft.

The music starting around 14:20 is sadly missing from the remake unless I missed it but I don't think I did. I really am loving the remake and to me it's game of the year but overall this original is far better. In every way even though I am loving the remake and own and play both.

Man, the prison is so short compared to the remake. The remake expanded it to be like 10x as long.

To me this is the scariest area of the original game, I just got here on the remake and I'm taking a breather before diving into it, I just hope the remake doesn't let me down now so far is great, wish me luck

@@RuminInLove that was terrifying, even got me thinking what the hell I'm doing, James is paying for his sins not me. Jokes aside, that was great loved it, and Angela's father boss fight was so great, so far I think the remake is my favorite horror game ever since I don't have any nostalgia for the original. I'm at the rotten labyrinth and I don't feel like stopping maybe I'll even push for the ending today
