Dx11 gains performance because I think it turns of the lumen shadows and nanite hence better performance. Idk why developers do this and just don't provide a in-game option to do so 🤔

it's insane how SIGNIFICANTLY worse the performance was on dx12 for me. the game was near unplayable. had to force myself to get through to woodside (before finding out you can play it in dx11

Yeah after woodside game runs awful on dx12. dx11 is the way to go

@@Tomas91709 It is even worse after meeting with Maria for me, but for some reason DX11 in my case have insane stutters and drops while DX12 is smooth as butter

Game looks better in dx11. I will never understand why fsr 3 don't work on dx 11, it's such a miss, but tsr is very good actually

I had to play on DX12 just to be able to use FSR 3.0 DX11 doesn't enabled such features.

no only in dx 12 you can activate ray tracing and some other option but besides that its the same if you struggle to run the game you wont activate ray tracing anyways so free fps

This is completly about the stoarage type you use, if ssd there actually no lows.

10 fps higher and 10 times more freezes. Also dx11 probably disables lumen. Such technologies are related to ray tracing and usually do not work in dx11. For very weak cards and for those who like freezes, this may be a good solution. But for normal cards - dx11 is a bad solution.

Nah. I don't have any freeze and gain 20+30 frames by playing on dx11. Side by side comparison shows that visual quality is close- if not identical- to dx12 with RT off.

honestly, i've been playing this game on max settings with raytracing, fsr3 and fg (RTX 3060 12GB), and had almost no stutters during gameplay, idk how are people having that bad of an experience on dx12 lol

​@@BruhnoGabriel26 Vá em "C:\Users\*SEUNOME*\AppData\Local\SilentHill2\Saved\Config\Windows"​ e procura o arquivo "Engine.ini" Lá dentro, na ultima linha, escreve isso: [SystemSettings] r.FidelityFX.FI.Enabled=1 Faça questão de colocar isso dentro do Engine.ini separado das outras coisas lá no fim, apenas deixe uma linha em branco e na próxima linha, cole aquilo. Depois de fazer isso, quando você ativar o FSR3 nas configurações dentro do jogo, ele automaticamente vai estar com Frame Generation.

Yeah it boost up the performance by a lot but it use FSR upscaling and the image quality is way worse than dlss...I mean I can literally see ghosting on leafs flying around and a lot of shimmering.......amd frame gen with dlss upscaling would have been much better
