How much pain and suffering does a man have to go through in order to forgive himself? Even if James was a fictional character, I felt the guilt he suffered inside himself to the marrow of my bones. Great Game Great tracks i love how this track giving me so much feelings. Guilt, suffering, yearning for love. I felt so sorry for James when I first played this game

theres a lot more emotion in his voice, but not too much. you can feel his care and love for mary dominating every time he talks about her. especially his “No!” when angela suggests he cheated. I love it all

@@stopgirlidk6611 He is constantly jumping into bottomless holes in certain parts of the game. He keeps fight within himself he keep pushing himself deep and deeper, and for us, even seeing this is enough. Accepting and forgiving yourself can sometimes not be easy. I am trying to keep cope with this. i am saying this to myself everytime. everything will be fine. get your shit together don't loose yourself. But sometimes you can't tell these words to yourself. Because you've already hit the bottom inside your own head. Playing this game doesn't makes me happy to be honest. We live in a cruel world. sometimes we have to be cruel in order to survive. But the Guilt you carry along the way always weigh you down no matter where you go. Sorry i carried away in my own thoughts

The leave ending is my ending of choice simply because at the end he tries to make it so Mary doesn't forgive him. Deep down inside he knows he doesn't really hate her, but he still says it because he hasn't quite forgiven himself yet and he wants Mary to yell at him and get mad at him. Instead, she says how sad he looks, and asks him to live on, and I think that's the moment that James is saved, because now he knows that they never hated each other, at least not completely.

@@stopgirlidk6611 I think that's the only time in the game he actually gets angry. Even the thought of him being unfaithful to Mary sets him off. He may have went to strip clubs but I don't think he ever crossed that line.

Bro this game is something. I`ve been waiting for it for so long. I absolutely in love with it (also love the original). It`s a pleasure for me to see the success and how fans also excited and touched by it. Glad you share my feelings and your video is a perfect example of it

This, for me, is the most disturbing moment of this remake, and especially the remake version. Sure, all the monsters and their implied meanings are scary, but that stare he made when he made this realization, that's realer than any symbolic monster, because you could see it happen in real life too. The remake devs made a good job making it even more impactful

Having played the original when it was first released, I was obsessed for a bit but didn't have the life experiences yet to fully comprehend what was going on. Now that I've lived a good bit and matured, this game and its soundtrack are just the epitome of what life is all about and how to face it without losing yourself. The ambiance and emotions on display are to die for.

They really knocked it out of the park. There’s a few minor gripes I have with it. A couple things about some cutscenes with the acting by Maria’s actress, but overall, the game is incredible. Akira, of course, is flawless with the soundtrack. November 20th can’t come soon enough for the full soundtrack 😭

@@GodKiller97 Yeah, I think all voice actors in the remake are better except for Maria/Mary, she was the standout in the original game. So it's not really surprising that the new VA isn't as good. I think James especially is amazing in the remake.

It's really upsetting how they messed up this music for the remake, it's cut off too soon. It's so much more powerful and emotional in the original. They need to port the original SH2 to current systems with 4K remastering so everyone can experience the true disturbing SH2.
