Listening to this reimagined version of Laura’s theme gives me a pleasantly heroic and triumphant vibe. While such a tone would be out of place in SH2’s story, as some here have already pointed out, I can actually somewhat see this befitting SH1’s Harry Mason. That is, especially given his story’s grander stakes and more straightforward focus on externalized good vs. evil. For instance, this track made me wonder how a SH1 Remake could flesh out Harry Mason’s final battle against the Incubus. If Konami’s hired team wanted to pull off something similar to the end of Super Castlevania IV’s final boss fight (where the soundtrack switches to Simon’s theme when Dracula is at low health), I can almost imagine the music switching to a soundtrack like yours during near the end of the Incubus fight. In an added final phase, the tables have turned and the Incubus is on its desperate last legs, while Harry Mason is practically whaling on it. This might give the end of the battle a cathartic vibe and represent Harry conquering the nightmare at last, in order the save the girl he loved as his own daughter from the cursed town.

I love this so much but i just know if this was in the game in anyway it would ruin it so much :D not because it's bad either but it's very in your face and bombastic which SH2 is not and should not be :D HOWEVER this is amazing ! would love to hear more :)

"Epic orchestral" I mean its a bit weird you want an epic, orchestral version of a soundtrack that is from one of the most depressing stories of all time, but sure why not
