It's a bad lyric, but the rest of the song more than makes up for it. Her voice is fantastic.
@Wyte_KnightАй бұрын
@@glumbumble To be fair, I think it's a good lyric. @aoaoli explanation makes sense. And the following makes even more sense, "I need a miracle, and not someone's charity". She needs more than a drop of love, her heart is just too filled with holes for that. She needs, like she said, an ocean full of love, to be completely immerged in it. Considering what happened before Heather finds Douglas, injured, at the Amusement Park, it's totally normal that she feels totally helpless and in need of some affection. She must be crushed.
@glumbumbleАй бұрын
@@Wyte_Knight I think the lyrics makes sense yeah. I just think "Swiss cheese heart" is a kind of silly way to put it. Put in terms of getting the meaning across it does work. I just don't like the... erm... aesthetics... of it I guess. hehe I still do love the song though. The chorus is wonderful.

Everyone praises the slower, melancholic, atmospheric pieces by Yamoaka but people don't give enough credit to the absolute BANGER alt-rock tracks on the soundtracks, which add so much passion and high-energy to the OSTs. McGlynn is awesome and 'Your Rain' is the best of her work imo. You should have included 'End of Small Sanctuary' though.
@camohq1 Жыл бұрын
I love end of small sanctuary but I can't remember why I didn't put it on here. *If* I make another video like this end of small sanctuary will probably be on it. And yeah it is insane how much the rock tracks are overshadowed by the more atmospheric/lo-fi tracks of the series, everyone talks about theme of laura but so many people don't realize just how many tracks like it there are throughout the games.

I have never played any of the Silent Hill games, but for some reason this music evokes some kind of personal emotional connection for me, like something from my childhood. The times when I was little. When I was sitting in the car and we were driving somewhere, and I was looking out the window. Dull landscapes of panel houses, which became very close to me. I don't think I'll ever understand where my brain made this connection. Anyway, thanks again!
