Can’t believe I’m back, 13 years ago this song pop up on my KZbin list, I was 19, in college, just came to United state, scared and helpless. It’s been a tough time for me, depression, getting overweight, failed college, tried to kill myself, but I wen through. Now I got a career, go to gym, got a new truck, a house. This song reminds me a lot. To whom still struggling on your life, don’t give up brother/sister, you are amazing, you are doing good, take a break when you tired, cry when you feel sad, I care about you and I want you to be happy

Played this game year after my dad died of cancer, had no idea what this game is about, it has touched me emotioanly like nothing else, it was like my own, personal hell, I was crying so much during the ending when Mary was reading the letter, even today, so many years later, this song feels so sad to me

I played it last October, about a year after my dad died, but the memory was still fresh in my head. I was his caretaker. He died from complications to heart surgery, but basically everything was failing. I've felt a lot of survivor's guilt and the game helped me work through it to some degree. Fighting pyramid head with James was like facing my own demons.

It's been 7 years since I first saw this, and it remains in my eyes - hands down - one of the best videos on KZbin. Brings me back to a time where I naïvely believed myself to be truly happy, and everything seemed to be less bleak (and when KZbin still had a soul). I was 14 when I first got into Silent Hill, and I continued to play it again and again throughout the following years. Many things have changed since that time, some for the better, others for the worse. But I've always felt somehow drawn to that game, as well as to this song (both the original and this cover) like the town of Silent Hill itself. Even though those days of blissful ignorance are long gone, everything connected to this installment has a special place in my heart. Thank you guys for doing this cover, and for still managing to nearly bringing tears to my eyes, even at the ripe old age of 22 :)

Jesus... now it's been well over 13 years since I first watched this. I'm 28 now. It's crazy that I'm almost 30 and I'm still coming back this video at least once a year. Honestly I'd rank this cover up there with the original version. It would fit with some kind of Silent Hill fanwork, just since we're unlikely to ever see another SH game again.

I still listen to this today, in 2020. I don't even know when exactly I found this video, it must have been years ago, but I keep coming back to it, especially when everything just seems to become too much again. Came here to commit this to memory. I remember when I was 14, I kept trying to play this song, as well as Theme of Laura, and it was sounding okay, nothing amazing. And one day a girl I liked at school came with her guitar. And I asked to hold it for a bit, while chatting and me just strumming our teacher came in, she was a pretty chill teacher, and asked if I can play anything. I mentioned I can try, but I am not good at all. The moment before she came in, there was a general ruckus, the usual type. Once she asked, everyone looked at me... and I started playing. I just played the few lines I knew, repeating twice and the flowing into Theme of Laura. Everyone was silent throughout and I didn't get booed, which I should have been cautious of, thinking back. I remember playing and not completely messing it up, but more importantly I distinctly remember everyone else claiming to "play guitar" not wanting to show it. Perhaps I was just foolish enough then to not care what others thought, and I do remember a couple of my friends lightly clapping at the end when I finished and the teacher saying it was nice. Thinking back, I really doubt it sounded any good, but the fact that these two songs gave me the courage to play in front of 30 something students, and the girl I liked, and not completely tripping over or being laughed at at the end really left a good memory for me. And you guys were the ones that initially got me to trying out at least Promise. So thank you for being the foundation of this wonderful memory.
