This game deserves so much more love. I wish this was re-released for PlayStation 5. All it needs is the glitches to be cleared up, and that’s it. I wish this game was longer, but it’s still good! Also, this soundtrack is the second best for me. Next to the second game. Especially Akira’s work for the forest part and the song ‘Creeping Distress’.

ironic this was uploaded today, was just watching a video called Survival Horror Hidden Gems. and this game despite being a silent hill game, was the last game mentioned. having binged all games from this series, i don't understand the appeal. enemies, aren't scary, maps make no sense, stories are dumb or uninteresting. it's an action game in a horror setting. not a horror game.

For me it is the worst, but still worth playing through once. The story's pretty good, it's just that the gameplay is annoying, you can only run away from monsters. I like Silent Hill combat in general, it's relaxing in a weird way to me, so a game without that option is off-putting a bit
