As a devoted Silent Hill fan for almost 20 years, with Silent Hill 4 holding a special place in my heart as my favorite installment, I am absolutely thrilled about this project! The attention to detail, the eerie atmosphere, and the way it captures the essence of the game's psychological horror are truly amazing. Silent Hill 4 was one of the first horror games I ever played when I was a kid. Its atmosphere and claustrophobic vibes have always stuck with me. This short film absolutely nails those things. I really hope something more comes from this.

Thank you for this wonderful short. I hope your vision is soon realized. My first apartment was in the historic Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My studio was 306. I lived next door to what I thought was an empty apartment for months, only to discover its resident was a one-legged schizophrenic woman. A fact I'd discover only after waking up to a fire which she set at my front door. This was one of several freaky occurrences that took place while I lived there. I had begun playing Silent Hill 4: The Room just before moving in, and completed it the first few weeks after. It was an absolute honor to live the nightmare. I just remembered, the name of the apartment complex was Octavia Hill.

i played this game with my dad when i was a kid and still till this day it's haunting soundtrack and atmosphere has been the reason why it's one of my favorite in the silent hill series seeing this really captured the overall vibe of silent hill 4 as a whole. This is absolutely amazing.

Really nice. Captures the atmosphere really well. The mundanity of Henrys' prison. Dunno about the direction with Henry though. He feels a bit overacted. At times he's super dry as he should be but after the nightmare and when he encounters the door he just seems a bit _too_ animated. Super quick to hyperventilate, scrabbling at the door, really panicked looking. I always pictured Henry from the game treating the door with a strange curiosity rather than fear. But then, none of the Team Silent protaganists emote particularly strongly I suppose. Perhaps a limitation of the technology of the time.

Honestly, i can see SH4 being a great movie. Maybe even making it simialr to the game with a first lerson perspective during the room and then normal angles when outside. And learning who walter was, and avoding the back tracking of course.
