This is a very simple devastation using a simple arcade mode with rare acoustic torpedoes. In real life (оr hard game) the shooting was carried out not at the periscope sight, but using the computing. Without an escort and any dangers to fire 2-3 torpedoes at the already sinking ships can only sofa sitting "captain" )) Anyway, SH3 is the best game. Better than 4 and 5 despite not having good enough graphics. My favorite game 5-10 years ago!

It's amazing to imagine what a whole Wolfpack of those things would have done with acoustic torpedoes. Even the DE's and CVE's would of had a hard time with those things. Well done

What made the Long Lance so surprising and insane sounding wasn't because it was long ranged but it was long ranged AND rather fast to use that range properly. Long ranged torpedoes have been a thing for a while, but the problem was HITTING anything with them...

Where are the escorts? I remember the sim "aces of the deep" from some years ago. You couldn't make a move without getting jumped by escorts. You were lucky to get a few torpedoes away, before one or more had detected you. If you surfaced, then, planes were on you.
