I've just put an m4w hop unit with my own er-hopped 6.05 barrel in my mtw and it's slinging 0.4g to 70m doing 1.15 joules, awesome bit of kit

No problem. Because Silent Industries sent it to me free of charge. I never really had any major issues with the stock hop unit.

Damn it... I so want to buy one of these MTW's. The idea of a purpose built HPA gun from the ground up is super interesting to me. And it doesn't hurt that I have a friend who is a local MTW rep. The urge is strong with this one... And that hop unit looks like its been well thought out. Can't wait to hear what you think about it.

Seemed OK to me getting the nub in place. Not used this one in game yet. Shoots well in the garden though. The MTW community seem to live this chamber too.

Im totally dissapointed with the SI Unit. I lost about 0.6 Joule with it. Going back to the stock plastic unit and im Back at 1.9 Joule

Where did you get the gold dial from mate and is the nub standard with the Mtw ?

Hold a finger on the back of the engine(next to the contact yoke contact point) when releasing the advanced feed tube to not put as much tension on the feed tube tabs or they could break like on mine. same thing during assembly but in reverse:)

So far, I’ve only tested it in my garden. With 0.32g BBs it was very consistent and fed well with EPM1 mags. Sorry, I don’t get involved in manufactured drama BS.
