Hey Albert hope you doing great! I have three of these and I've been very happy with them. My variation is that I ended up using the Crux 3 2S on an inverted BetaFPV 95X v2 frame. Oh and also using three props emax props. It relatively quite and good power when needed; flight time is about 5 - 5:30 minutes - carrying a runcam thumb pro. Anyhow all this to say, I'll love to improve on this. Have you done any new tweaks??? I've adopted Walksnail (I think you went the DJI 03 route) and will love a new build with one of those as opposed to having to carry an additional camera for HD video. I ordered a pair of these prop guards just because i thought they will be out of stock very soon xD they shoud be here in a few days. I used the same board (frsky version) in a 1s 3 inch build and after i found out that the spi range was not enough for me i soldered a crsf nano to it. works fine

I know I’m way late to the party but I did take a Crux 3 with FRsky SPi in 11/2024 and put a RadioMaster RP1 elrs receiver on it and it quadrupled the range and it flys great on a 800mah 2S for 10 minutes as a cruiser.

I have a few kwads including a dji 75mm all with the same board . $40 getfpv . I have the sailfly x stock . And a tp3 with the same board . Some don’t like the crazybee board but they work and really feel solid in the sky .

I’m planning converting my betafpv HX115 when those prop guards arrive. Also I’m going to use a deadcat toothpick frame found on thingiverse to try keep the naked gopro a little bit more low. Let’s see how it comes out! Thanks for the inspiration!

Yeah, I've had those same ideas too. The Deadcat will allow the naked GoPro to be placed lower but you'll need a different mount obviously.

Hi Albert, nice job getting the weight down. Perhaps you can skinny up the 3D Printed naked GoPro mount a bit more to save some weight? Open up the front and rear vertical surfaces on the tray with openings leaving some strategically placed cross bracing and add just a little gusset here and there at each end of the tray to add strength where needed to compensate. Make that tray more like a basket vs. a solid sided trough with openings in the bottom. Just thinking (typing) out loud here.

Seems Like Albert was ahead of His time! Finally betafpv pavo Pico and happymodel mobula8 O3 have Seen the benefit of a very lightweight O3 whoop. Bravo Albert. Are you going Show the manufacturers once again how it is done? Maybe a O3 2inch 2s open prop quad with no props in view? Maybe once again based on the crux 3 frame but with the happymodel digital 12a AIO board? I would be curious to see.

I'm trying to set one up for a trip to PR on Jun 12. Don't think the ones ordered from banggood will be here on time :( Also, after inverting the Crux3 did you noticed a change on the sound profile? Does it seems quieter, louder or the same? I've been using a moblite7 to carry my InstaGo 2 for indoor shots. I know this will be a much better, viable solution. Damn like to build this. My pusherbee 95x is a lil loud at 120g dry weight. My naked broke. Trying to get a smo4k. But this be great for Insta go for time being. So crux3 over Savage bee and flipping? Though think building with r9 and vtx nano (tbs or immersionrc) just so I have the range and penetration And nylon screws

The bigger 3-inch props can carry more load for longer flights and don't make as much noise as the 2-inch 85Pro build. That's why that one I only made for the Insta360go and not a naked goPro.

Yes, but then the solder pads are inaccessible. However, doing that on the Crux3 will be a royal PITA. You'll have to desolder everything. Totally pointless on the Crux3.
