Silent Overnight in Ibones Azules - Pyrenees

► ABOUT THIS HIKE
On October 2023, I went camping to Ibones Azules.
Ibones Azules are a very popular high mountain lakes in the Pyrenees. They are near 2.400 meters above sea level. On your way up, you pass by a deep canyon, some waterfalls, some streams and Bachimaña lakes, where there is a refuge. You are all the time surrounded by high peaks which reach near or over 3.000 meters. Then, if you camp in the Ibon Azul Superior (there are two of them), you will sleep just in front of one of the most famous summits of the Pyrennes: Los Infiernos.
The hike to the Ibones Azules takes around 13 km (round trip).

► ACERCA DE LA RUTA
En octubre de 2023, fui a pasar la noche a los Ibones Azules.
Los Ibones Azules son unos famosos lagos de alta montaña en los Pirineos. Se encuentran cerca de los 2.400 metros de altitud. En el camino de subida pasas junto a un profundo barranco, algunas cascadas, algunos arroyos y por los Ibones de Bachimaña, donde hay un refugio guardado. Estás durante todo el tiempo rodeado de grandes picos llegando algunos cerca de los 3.000 metros o superándolos incluso. Luego, si acampas en el Ibon Azul Superior (hay dos), dormirás justo en frente de unas de las cimas más famosas del Pirineo: Los Infiernos.
La ruta hasta los Ibones Azules consiste en unos 13 km (ida y vuelta).
