Silent scope complete with light rifle Xbox gameplay

yours looks pretty smooth. I would imagine since electronics nowadays are cheap, they should make a new silent scope and put a mini monitor in the gun so it feels more real.

House of the dead for the Xbox is a awesome game to play it works good with the madcatz blaster for Xbox.

Donald Fontes yes it is awesome;) I have that one also:) I love that you can unlock part 2 on there as well. I wish they would re-release part 1 on a modern console:(

No. And this generation of lightgun games doesn't work with any sort of flat (LED, LCD or plasma TVs). Need a CRT (tube) TV,

I believe there are now screen covers they make to fix this. Very insightful point tho. Most people dont think about it, until they try to play Duck Hunt and it doesnt work on their $2,000 4k OLED TV​@@dglesterhardunkichud4017

You know, nowdays the game hackers can even change the main screen values of 3D games with game enhacer codes( aka game genie, gameshark, action replay, code breaker, trainers) In order to force a game into proper Widescreen. I always wondered if the light values could be changed and in that way fix this game with a trainer in a soft modded xbox. (that way you can play properly even with an original copy) Sadly i dont know anything about Hex codes or that shit... so I just hope someone who knows about this read this comment, lol xD

coldkeyes lol😂 I know they are getting harder to find. Maybe a thrift store or a goodwill type store. I just had a friend getting rid of one so I got lucky. Most people just give them away because they cost money to throw them away at recycle centers. Keep an eye on Craigslist and places like that usually real cheap or free;)

Thanks for the vid. Is it possible to calibrate the gun in order to have a 1:1 shot aiming and looking throughthe scope crosshair as it happens with the arcade cabinet? When you look through the scope you see only the part of your tv where the crosshair appears or also the rest of the screen?

kmika7e7 your welcome. I'm not sure about the 1:1. I know that the little dial makes the sensor more or less sensitive so it may help to just make it extra sensitive. I don't really notice the delay while playing although it is quite noticeable in the video. I never played the arcade though so I'm not sure how much better the scope view was. As far as looking through the scope you can go to the settings to make the circle appear larger or smaller depending on how far you are from the tv so I think you could get it close. I just notice the zoom whenever I'm looking through the scope but that also may be due to never playing the arcade. Hope this helps. I'll have to get it out again and mess with it to give you a better answer;)

+bigmansavagedan81 these are cool news. If you only see the crosshair and not the rest of your tv while youre looking through the scope means its close to the arcade experience. Didnt know about the fact that you can increase the crosshair, seems legit. Thanks for your feedback, and if you do a second attempt dont hesitate posting your thoughts.

thoyo no problem;) your welcome! yeah I stumbled across it a while back and was surprised to see it as well. It's hit or miss with some TV sets but pretty cool for what it is. I love it but I hate that the tv brightness has to be cranked up. Still very playable but could have been so much better if they could have fine tuned the technology.

The only other game I used it in was House of the Dead 3, and it works quite well👍 I like to take the long part of the barrel off and use it like a shotgun with the pump action reload😁 It is the main weapon in that game so it makes it feel even better to use it with😀 I’m not sure what causes the gun to be so hard to calibrate with silent scope (because you have to crank the brightness), but it works great with HOTD 3 without needing to do that;)

This game is notorious for how hard it is to get everything working properly:/ the only advice I can give is make sure your tv brightness is cranked way up. As far as the scope sensitivity I just kept turning the little dial on the side of the gun a little bit at a time until i got the best results. I believe just like the other options you also have to calibrate the gun for each individual game once you start it. I hope this helps

Can you use a regular Light Gun with this game or it's only compatible with the rifle? I have one that works with The House of the Dead 3 but it is way smaller than this.

Yes I actually used a mad Catz gun to play it before;) it’s the only other gun I’m aware of for the Xbox;)

what kind of tv is that? i have a toshiba that plays the dreamcast and playstation light gun games perfect but my toshiba will not calibrate with my xbox whatsoever and i have this game with two different silent scope light guns and the calibration is horrible, it barely even moves, and when it moves it skips, i cant figure it out for the life of me.

Auset McChristion-Thomas sorry for the delay but it’s a 27” symphonic. Still takes quite a bit of adjusting and cranking up the brightness but it’s playable;)

After playing the game again lately also don’t forget to go to the options inside the game and adjust the in game brightness from the menus. I usually have mine between 45 and 50 which is almost a max.

I think it just uses the Xbox hard drive to save game files;) I haven’t played this game in a long time but I feel like it was always weird to get the options to save. I always turned on the red flashes when an enemy is hit to make it more realistic. I think you have to turn this option and all other options on individually for each game.

krakenblast sorry I'm pretty sure this only works with the older crt televisions. Even with those it takes some effort as you can see how bright the screen has to be turned up. I wish they would do an updated version of this game to work on newer hdtvs
