This song literally saved my life. I was wander through the Sahara desert and stopped to talk to a tribe of nomadic people on camels. They were blasting this song though a speaker. I asked them how they knew this song, and told them I was a fan as well. They had noidea what I was saying because they did not speak Japanese or English. Suddenly, a large potted plant dropped from the sky, in the exact spot I would have been walking if I had not stopped. Best song ever.

I am a Nick Hornby fan. I love every film based on his novels. About A Boy in particular. Nicholas Hoult was perfect, Toni Collete impecable as usual, and Hugh Grant was better than never. Soundtrack is amazing and this particular song brings me back to 2002 in a blink. I also miss that time. BTW the video clip for this one is AWESOME!
@gilesjones36264 жыл бұрын
Agreed. This song transports me straight back to the early noughties. At the time I thought it was a pretty uninspiring time, but now I'm nostalgic for that period. There was a sense of optimism that I don't think we feel now unfortunately.

After my graduation day, I was not feeling very well, because after that, I knew I wouldn't see my friends for a while, when I came back home, it was 7 pm, I lock my self, and it was like magic, this song started playing in my playlist that I had on my room, I stood there for 3 minutes in silence after the song.
