I had a long, long day. It wasn’t a bad day, it was a long day. Since the original version of this song came out, it has gotten me through more hard times and mental fogs than I can count. That coincided with the beginning of a years long, nasty fight with depression that I FINALLY feel like I’ve gained the upper hand on. I came home from work, sat down to eat one of my favorite meals, and this came on my tv by random chance. It’s so crazy how life can go so full circle, this mellow, more upbeat and beautiful version of one of my favorite songs of all time was the perfect way to end the best day I’ve had in a while. You guys are a blessing to the music world.
