You cant do this on pc due to the pc version not having a 3rd party player system like xbl and psn. (The part where you use the controller to open up the group menu on ps5 cant be replicated on pc)

It definitely works with Xbox, you just have to find that person, send them the message and join their game but you have to be quick because the games go by fast! So prep everything before you do it!
