Blanca Garza get the new one of this and not a cricut, u can't do things like this with the cricut at all and u are limited on the print n cut feature, this one is so much better if u want to do things like this. I regret getting my cricut. now I won't one of these. also u have to have internet using the cricut unlike this one.

Thank you for the video. It is very good. I have a hard time weeding card stock. What type of card stock do you use for this kind of projects? What settings do you use in your Cameo? Love what you make for your daughter's b-day parties 🎉

Great video, I subscribed! You're straight to the point and dont jump over small details that are important, nor do you ramble! One question. I've been doing this a while but recently switched from the cricut maker to the cameo 3 so I'm partially a newbie again (so SO happy I did!!). I have my own business and was wondering what weight of cardstock do you use? I recently started playing around with it but I can never find a weight that seems as sturdy as yours. I've tried plenty of different cardstock weights but cant get it right! Thanks for your time and keep rocking it!

It would help me a great deal if you could tell me how I can cut any kind of card stock with out it curling up, ripping, I can't pull anything off of the mat without destroying it. And see that your doing it with ease. So I use the back of the mat and tape everything down. Which limits the things I can do. Please HELP! Is there a way I can make my mat less sticky. I've tried everything even used baby power on the mat which worked a little to well but made a mess.
@EtchedwithVinyl7 жыл бұрын
BloodSweatnBassOutside It's because the mat is too sticky. Do you have vinyl? You could stick vinyl to it. Take it off, put it on. Repeat till it's less sticky.

Cool. Compound Path. Cool technique. I love making crafts. I wish I were able to make stuffs like you can. Seriously, I am not good at machines. I bought Cameo but the first try, I ruined the mat. So I have not been able to use it yet. How come the paper does not stick to your mat?? I mean I am pretty sure it does stick but you were able to peel them out. When I placed my paper on the mat it stuck and I was not able to peel my paper from the mat. So it ruined and had to throw it away...

i have a question,I'm a new user and trying to figure out if the Cameo is useful. like for example, why wouldn't you just print this out on a regular printer as opposed to piecing it all together. sorry if this is a stupid question
@applesaurus50417 жыл бұрын
Well printing it out on paper distorts the color, and it's very flat. When you cut them out individually it adds thickness and depth to a scrapbook page. Now if you're using them for decorations, doing his also makes it more sturdy.

@merlynnw9 жыл бұрын
Great job! Loved the video, I'll probably have to watch it a couple of times to get it right. I have a question. Why did you not just erase the small text on your design, instead of using the compound path? Also Do you work with vinyl or HTV vinyl? My teenagers are into tshirts with designs on it. Can't wait for your next video.
@EtchedwithVinyl9 жыл бұрын
+Merlynn Wierzbicki You could the eraser if you would like. But the design needed the compound path to be released anyways in order to color all the parts in and separate them for cutting, so I just deleted those tiny pieces at the bottom that way. And I think it's easier sometimes, then you can just select the pieces all at once and click delete :) I've worked with HTV a little bit.. But not a whole lot. I am going to make a basic how to video of it though. Thanks for watching!
