Silhouette Curio Embossing a Leather Cuff

Don't forget to wet the leather throughly before embossing.
**You might need to adjust the number of platforms depending on the thickness of your leather and if it has snaps that may keep the cutting tools from moving.**

Again, another great tutorial. I was not able to hear everything you were saying. Could you please tell me where you got your font. i know that you picked one and the typed 4 Capital S's, but I was not able to follow you on the settings. Your voice is low and i had it to the highest setting on the vol. I will have to check that out in the moreing, but again great tutorial.

I have had my machine for two years and have no idea how to use the software. All of the tutorials are so fast that you can’t figure it out. Shilouette ( curio)really missed the mark on this . Is the software the same as the other machines or not? Something I wanted to do so much just sits there . I’m so sad.

Hi ! The Silhouette Studio software covers all their machines. The actions in the software are the same. This video is an old version of it. The differences lay mostly on what you are going to create in the end. Cutting, Embossing, Stippling, etc. With that in mind, check out videos that address what you want exactly to make. This video, I agree, shows too quicly how to do the manoeuvres and I think is not thoroughly mastered. The small vertical lines that show up in the design after welding mean that the two letters are not close enough for the software to weld them together. Ungrouping before welding would be the solution, then moving the first closer to the second with a slight overlap would resolve the welding issue. Hope I made myself clear... As for the Free Font website : www.fontspace.com and in the search bar type Pattern. Voilà !

Hi there, sorry about the belated response. Silhouette software has a learning curve and some people might say is not as user friendly. I highly recommend Silhouette School website for all things silhouette and lots of in depth tutorials and there’s also many facebook groups like Silhouette Curio Creations on facebook. When I created this video I was learning myself but I wanted to help others because I saw a lack of tutorials on these machines. Good luck, I hope this helps!!!

A bit of advice. When you are talking you lower your voice to just above a whisper. Speak in a normal tone or get a mic so your audio is better.

Sorry for the bad quality, these were made 6 yrs ago. And used my headphones to record in closet while my newborn took naps. 😂😂😂
