@Alexis just s little tip from someone who works with cut vinyl, if you apply some heat after sticking them on your surface it really help activate the adhesive. Even a blow dryer for your hair would make a difference.

You can also seal your printable vinyl with contact paper! It’s super easy and cheap

@@A347baker I use my Cricut (Maker) for Print and Cut with no problem. There is a learning curve involved but all info is on the Cricut help area on the internet. I use an ink jet printer and have no problem.

How did you get your designs so close together? I am trying to print 2 decals on one 8-1/2 × 11 sheet using a Silhouette Cameo 3 and I am having trouble with the sizing. Also, the design did not cut on my first try. Di I need to chamge my settings?

If it require the acrylic spray, just instead overlay with adhesive back clear film or vinyl - in which case, just print on adhesive back photo paper.

Update! Answered my own question :) Transparent Oracle 651 vinyl! Now I just need to find it here in Canada. Does anyone know of a comparable "laminate overlay" to the expressions premium/glossy vinyl? And where in Canada I might be able to purchase it. Does Oracle or some other brand make something that would work? If so, what is it called? I'm assuming Expressions Vinyl isn't the only one to have such a thing. I can buy sticker paper & printable vinyl here, however I can't seem to find the glossy protective overlay for it. I can only find it in the US and by the time I add shipping and USD to CDN conversion it's ridiculously expensive. Hoping there is some sort of clear, glossy overlay that I can buy that will do the same thing. Any info would be super helpful! Great video by the way! Can't wait to make all sorts of stickers and decals!

I've been trying for hours to figure out what's wrong with my brand new Silhouette Cameo 4. I have it set to cardstock plain, and the page settings to Cut Mat Cameo 12x12. I also have Constrain to Cutting Mat checked. However, on the Send screen it says "Load Media" instead of Load Mat. It also does my test cuts above my cardstock direct onto the mat. It's like it will not recognize my mat. Can you please help me?

I used a brother laser printer for these. The Expressions Vinyl printable vinyl says to use with an inkjet printer, and I have done that as well with good results, but I just happened to have my laser printer set up, so that's what I used. :) Hope that helps!

I did printable vinyl with the uv laminate sheet over it on a coffee cup and because it was so bulky it seems to be fraying at the edges. Are you finding this happened to your sea creature stickers too?

Do you mean the border around the sticker or around the sheet of vinyl? You need the registration marks printed on the vinyl sheet to cut around the printed design, so the white border is necessary there. The border around the individual stickers is not necessary. You just need to change where the cut lines are positioned in the silhouette software. Using the internal offset feature is usually the best way to do that. Hope that helps!

I traced my cell phone case and uploaded it to silhouette and can’t get my hand drawn lines to disappear like you did. Do I need the designer edition to do that?

Kaitlynn Luaders , Hi Kaitlynn, she used the traced shape, like you did, for the size, and then used the tools within Silhouette to create the actual lines to be cut. Once you have your lines you can then delete your traced line pattern. For those that have one with their printer, I would just scan my phone with a scanner.
