didnt know cameo 3 is a much convenient tool for this. that 2nd carriage is mostly useless and only for display in cameo 4

Yes it's more challenging to do a sketch and cut with the CAMEO 3. The CAMEO 4's right carriage is for the speciality tools

I wish I'd known before I bought it that I'd have to swap pen and blade on my projects. For those that cut a lot of leather, balsa and fabric it might be worth it, though. I'm just not one of those.

Loved this tutorial, thank you! What type of cutting mat are you using; it doesn't look sticky and I was trying to figure out how to cut cardstock without having the paper peel in half.

I think it is a well loved silhouette mat that she used painters tape to stick the paper too. I agree the silhouette mats are way too sticky.

Hi nice video I have a silhoutte cameo 2 and when I first bought it when I was trying to cut a print n cut it started cutting all over my image do u know why this would happen haven't used it since thank u

Definitely make sure you have appropriate lighting! Check out this troubleshooting video for print and cut: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bKPOgIGff82gqtU we use the Cameo 4 but the tips are similar.
