@fraservickers12575 ай бұрын
@mikemandalorian9226 but tbf you've said there why it can't. The realism is the grounding feature of it, but then you are suggesting wacky Sci fi stuff like a time machine. I think the game works as it commits to a vibe, whereas introducing those kind of elements makes it thematically confused

I was just gonna say that it sounds more 90s than 80s. Some of those synth sounds would've been right at home on The Downward Spiral. But I'm not complaining because it totally rocks. One of the best tunes on the soundtrack, IMO.

@gamermccoolman93128 ай бұрын
Funnily enough, though stuff like Abrams and Apache were a big deal, but the actual NATO "game changers" of the 80s, most of which came from Assault Breaker, were either sensors like the JSTARS or were weapons that were intended to blow up like the BLU-108, SADARM and ATACMS.
@barbosaguzman61018 ай бұрын
@@gamermccoolman9312 the Apache is the only hardware I will say is good from the west - who am I to comment though, I'm not a vet. But from reading countless first hand experience from vets, the Abrahams are a pile of overhyped and overpriced trash - like the challenger tanks and Leopards lol.

@@barbosaguzman6101 Abrams are good tanks, but as I said before, systems that found and killed massed units in the enemy’s rear areas were probably more important.

@@gamermccoolman9312 petrol tanks on Slavic terrain in my eyes are not good- Turbine engines too if I believe not solid simple diesels... I read sand during Iraq was a killer and modifications were required to the air intake. As usual, the west over complicated the platform vs Russia with a simpler designs and good ole diesel engines are out producing the west. I really think the Russian strategy of build them simple, robust and scalable has proved wonders - they can replenish faster. Either way, I hope everyone comes to senses and realises the US / UK are fiddle masters and are the true culprits to blame... Thr US isn't looking so good internationally since Bidens tools office - trust the Yanks to vote for a criminal 😆

@@barbosaguzman6101 you do realise the Abrams can run on any fuel? Also one of the mainstays of Russia’s tank fleet uses a turbine.
