This interview is exactly the concept of interviews I always wanted: talking about genuine stuff, no click baits, just a sincere conversation where common people can relate with celebrities.

Wow, I genuinely admire Martin Starr even more after seeing this interview. He seems like a genuine guy. He is far away from the pretentious world of Hollywood. I had a huge crush on his character on Silicon Valley Bertram Gylfoyle but now I am even more in awe of him. The interview is quite unique as well. Moreover, making an introverted guy like Martin pour his heart out requires great perseverance. Great job. :)
@youwish60664 жыл бұрын
I recognise you from the other video lol. I too had a crush on Gilfoyle. Didn’t know he was Bill in freaks and Geeks (which is one of my favs). The thing I like about Martin the most is that he isn’t afraid to speak his mind. Really admire him.
@shreyapalodhi52684 жыл бұрын
@@youwish6066 Yeah very true. He is, in fact, one of the most genuine and introverted celebrities I have ever seen in my life. He stays away from fame as far as he can. In today's day, it is pretty rare.

The network set Freaks and Geeks up to fail. I was a huge fan of the show, and I remember actively trying to chase down the next air time for it back in the days before every network's schedule was readily available on the internet. They would tease the next episode and then not even air the show for several weeks. Other times they aired the show but switched nights without any notice whatsoever. I never even got to see the final episodes until the boxed set was released on DVD. It remains one of my favorite shows to this day.

I’ve seen, and enjoyed, Martin Starr in stuff for years. Always great to see the layers peeled back from the onion. It’s heartbreaking to hear about anyone suffering from ALS. I appreciate his openness. And I appreciate this podcast. 🥰

I subscribed yesterday when I saw you added "video" interviews. Although I remembered seeing some before (where did they go??? I watched the Tom Welling and you video twice!!) But anyway, LOVING the Martin Starr Inside of You, watching it now. I'd love to see interviews with actors from our favorite 80s movies, even long retired ones. Side note, my 15 year old daughter is at the end of the 7th season of Smallville, we watch one episode almost every night. She gets so made at Lex that she yells at the TV. In 2 more episodes he kills Lionel, wondering how she'll react when she sees it :)

I really gravitate towards watching your content. We tend to think of actors / celebrities as above it all. Ocassionally I work with well known actors as a background player and the long and short of it is people are people, we are complex beings with our own rythms of life and obsticles to over come. Thank you for your real conversations!

Rosie, wtf is up with your channel? Everything’s changed. Hath doth laid his fruits behind ye old paywall? Btw- we threw the football around in Vancouver with Welling about 14 years ago. You’ve got a canon for an arm. Good luck with the channel, but I just shot a film with Mickey Rourke, and I had to pay him in cash, which cleaned me out, so I can’t afford to pay attention for the moment until we get a distribution deal. As soon as I can, I’ll toss you a few shekels to help keep the lights on. I hope you’re having fun, man. Godspeed. God Bless. - AGF
