sir mere pitaji ki retina detachment surgery feb 2022 me hue thi ab 1 year ho gya h par abhi silicon oil nhi nikala gya hai aur ankh choti hoti ja rhi hai doctor se bat krne pr bolte hain ki ankh me pani nhi ban rha hai isliye abhi silicon oil nhi nikal sakte hai agar oil nikal diya to ankh aur chhoti ho jayegi...aur ankh me vision bhi nhi hai...kya karu suggest me sir...

Dear sir, I had concussion in my rt. eye. It was lateral detachment of retina. In operation retina was stiched and silicon oil was filled. Due to some domedstic issues I couldnt remove oil. Almost 9 years have passed. And slowly imulsification took place, and now I lost vision in rt eye, left eye is 6/6. I wish to operate, now, where I can reach you for further treatment. Thank you very much for the explanation. However, I have a question about the residual small bubbles of light silicone oil that remain inside the eye after removing the silicone oil. Is it possible to wash the eye inside from this emulsion after 8 months, when the eye has already healed (and the injected gas has also dissolved, and the intraocular fluid has filled the eye again), but the bubbles (there are many of them and they are very small) are still there? Will any doctor perform that surgery? Is there still a risk in this case? I’m not a doctor, I’ll note, but a patient) I’ve more or less learned to live with these bubbles in my eye, but it’s not easy - I really want to get rid of them

After oil removal, if gas has been put, usually it takes 6-8 weeks for vision to come, but it depends on health of optic nerve and macula

Hello sir, Due to diabetes, one of my eyes leaked, so I had surgery from Shankar Netralaya. The doctor has put silicon oil in the eye. Now more than 1.5 years have gone by, doctor hasn't removed it. Eye vision was very less be 6/18 to 6/24. Now when I consult other doctors to do a review. They say focusing on the other eye is more important than surgery. Can you help me whether I should do work on another eye or surgery one? I want My surgery eye vision to be improved first. Please help. Thanks, Ankit Srivastava

I had retina detachment Operated at Sankara Netralaya in 2016 White spots have de W. Silicon oil was used and was removed after six months White spot is developed on cornea recently for the last 10 months. Is it because of Silicon oil Does white spots affect the vision Kindly advise

Hi sir, i had my 1st vitrectomy operations on left eye on 19th june n then the second one on the same eye with another doc on 31st of july and oil exchanged on the second operation. Now its been 1 week for the second operation. When will i be able to see properly when will my vision cone back pls help sir
