Hi mate nice job. Can you put a scratch coat and mesh and scratch it then top it another day like sand and cement or does it have to be wet on wet?

You can do either way with this product but I personally like to leave it a day before I top it, helps the top coat go off a bit quicker 👍

A flexi trowel is best for trowelling texture coat.

@@Theplasterers if you can get a hold of one where you are try out the ankora pavan 845 finishing trowel 360mm x 100mm. You won't regret it for troweling texture coats

Nice job there pal, question can you use any silicone base coat or is it a combination of base coat & top coat from the same brand if you get what I mean mate. Top job 👌🏻

You could use any brand to base with,you could mix with different brand stuff too and it will be fine but best if you can stick to same brand and use there full system, most brands will come with a product guarantee if you use there full system too 👍

does the top coat have to go on same day? or can you do later. Also how fast does it go before rubbing up, can i handle 10square meters in one go alone, i am a plasterer although old and decrepid

Once you’ve primed it you can leave it a few days if you like as long as you don’t leave it too long you should be fine And when you put the top coat on just lay it on really tight 5sqm at a time and drop back and rub it down you’ll be well away brother

Do you float up your basecoat mate?

Yea I give it a quick sponge float off just to get any scuffs or lines out but don’t go mad with it looking for perfection your top coat will cover it nicely

@@leegorman3329 I prefer fassa personally,think it licks up better. But I scratch with A96 on stuff like this then use ki7 to top it off 👍
