In this video , I have explained my riding experience from Siliguri to Kurseong via NH 55 through Sukna, Rongtong, Chunbatti, Tindharia, Gayabari, Mahanadi, Giddapahar.
The road is really beautiful and I was mesmerized by the breathtaking beauty of the Eastern Himalayas.
The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) stations are elaborately covered which are UNESCO World Heritage S.

I normally suggest NH 55 for 1st timers in the hills. But at present, NH 55 is blocked at Tindhariya due to landslides. So, for now I would suggest Rohini Bypass Road

Osadharaon.. actually first time i am planning to visit Darjeelling on 9th morning from Siliguri-so after a tons of research i zeroed in to go via this Tindharia route and will back from mirik route. রোহিনী রোড ব্যবহার করুন। কারণ NH 55 তিনধারিয়ার কাছে landslide এর জন্য বন্ধ। যদিও অল্টারনেট হিসাবে Giddapahar Bypass রয়েছে, কিন্তু ওই portion টা বেশ খারাপ, বাচ্চা নিয়ে না গেলেই ভালো হবে।

আমার যেটা জানার ছিল এই রাস্তায় যান চলাচল কম হওয়ার কারণ কি? আর থাপড়াইল থেকে বাঁদিকে টান নিয়ে আদিলপুর থেকে ডান দিকে গিয়ে শুকনা ফরেস্টের ভেতর দিয়ে আমি কি হিলকার্ট রোড ধরতে পারি! বিহার মোর থেকে ওই রাস্তায় কি ভাবে যাবো

এই রাস্তায় যান চলাচল কম কারণ বেশির ভাগ গাড়ি রোহিনীর রাস্তা দিয়ে যায়। Bihar More থেকে সোজা খাপরাইল আসুন। তারপর খাপরাইল থেকে আদলপুর, then থেকে ডানদিকে গিয়েও শুকনা আসতে পারেন।
