Silk was the best. The peak of the 90s 2s. Visually and sonically stunning. Timeless. I think Tony and Gaynor Sadler's best work. I emailed them ages ago to congratulate them and got a nice reply.

Very haunting, this one. I can definitely see the connection with the ocean. Also wanted to note that it seems like there was an earlier version of the soundtrack where the audio is more ‘muffled’

Wow first view. This is my favourite ident from the launch set. Soothing, relaxing and easy on the eye. The metronome in the music perfectly compliments the strings.

I feel the music is needed here. It wouldn't be BBC 2 without it. The sounds on their own would be out of place, you wouldn't really know it was supposed to be a ship unless told.
