I am definitely one of the people that said that her physical vulnerability and fury should not be removed on specials and knock downs, but she does look solid. I’m saving for the next featured right now, so maybe I’ll change my mind when I get my hands on her.

I kinda wish there was a way to lock in some physical vulnerabilities. Like once you get to 10 stacks they convert into a permanent physical vulnerability. I feel like that would make her a little less punishing if the AI is really passive. She’s like Adam Warlock in that respect, but whereas Adam has a few safety nets for the opponent going passive, Silk doesn’t. Overall I think she’s solid but I wish she was a little easier to ramp up and wasn’t so punished by awkward AI.

Her combos would have been really easy to follow with the combo tracker on even i lost it for a sec on that big Female Thor fight with the medium medium into Light light light then back off then combo 😅 she looks really good hope if kabam makes more spider characters they stop making them so squishy Spiderman isnt squishy there strong as hell.

So Silk is geared more for aggressive players, little downtime to great damage with some safety.. unlike Mantis who is a glass cannon champion who needs 20 mixed emotions, 10 fury thru heavy charge.. leggo of heavy (two hits) cancel into sp2 [most damage].. who is better damage wise?

Probably mantis since she’s a champ that doesn’t require sweating all the time Silk is great but for the full damage you will fuck your emotions

Auto evade on all special attacks! Full auto evade on Mangogs sp2 which is nice

She honestly looks way better than the deep dive and though that’s the case for most champs, I was worried about her fury mechanics and the opponent throwing a special. She looks great though so I’m excited for her!

@@Ultrqviolencee I’m genuinely interested in feedback from both of you as to why you feel that way - What was it about her Deep Dive that made you feel as though she was underwhelming?

@@Karatemike415 I can definitely deliver, for starters in the deep dive we didn't see any damage outside of her main rotation or any way to get consistent damage outside of it so me and a ton of other people were under the assumption that she NEEDED sp3 ans NEEDED ai cooperation aswell as those 3 fury passives in order to do enough damage to even end a bgs match, we were sorely mistaken because we didn't see any rotations outside of the long sp3 rotation, it lead to concerns much more about her fight time rather than her damage but her damage also seemed concerning without sp3 because we simply hadn't seen damage outside of that sp3 rotation! You do an amazing job in deep dives, i really commend you for your work in this community but like you do with certain champs you should slot in multiple rotations for each champ to better showcase their flexibility (if there is any flexibility) but I've never made a deep dive ofc so im not really sure if kabam would allow that extension😭

wait... let's talk about the spider champions in this game and how their base stats work, cuz clearly the guy who worked on Silk has no idea. What's with that almost double the hp compare to the rest spider family + better block Prof. That base HP is Venom/Korg level. Last time I remember Spider + female + S size = means squishy. I mean I like this change, I'm gonna grind the 6* in arenas 100%, I just feel bad for the rest spiders who fell into this trap of Kabams old thinking that all spiders/females should be low hp and squishy.

@@alecll493 well now that I’m thinking about it I don’t feel like that matters too much. You can’t root lock them anymore but most of the time I’m not pushing the opponent to the SP3 anyways. Plus it looks like it’s never been part of his kit to lock the SP3

@@Karatemike415 I dont even zemo lock all the fight . Its just horrible to be near the end of a fight and not be able secure it via the roots. Now managing power is even more stressful . He will be worse and drastically worse on bgs and kabam didnt even let us know this would be coming.

I landed her as a 7*. She has potentional but the vulnerabilty debuffs fall off too fast imo. If the enemy AI plays passive at all. Shes completely worthless. Fought ws in rol a dozen times. And every single time he never went for backdraft intercepts. He just stood in the corner like a lil bia. And made silk completely worthless. Huge flaw in her kit. Way too reliant on enemy AI being agressive. It plays defensive at all. shes completely worthless

@@Karatemike415 i know. But besides that. The main point. Is if at any point the AI decides not to take the bait on back drafts. Shes rendered uselss. Its a big flaw in her kit. The vulnerability debuffs need to last longer or they need to find a way to lock x amount in. Like being abke to keep at least 10 on them. Easy fix.
