Silk Road Dance Festival - London 2023

Our Silk Road Dance Festival aims to introduce the origin and flow of Chinese dance to a broader audience, and to feel, appreciate, and pass on its beauty together.
The Silk Road Dance Festival is not only an artistic feast, but also a platform for cultural exchange between China and the UK. While our performers were born, raised, and educated in the UK, we are actively promoting Chinese culture overseas. We hope to use the Silk Road Dance Festival as a link between cultures, let more British people and overseas Chinese know about Chinese culture, and to bring diversity, mutual understanding and admiration to our community.
The Silk Road Dance Festival this year themed “Blessing”. We hope to convey blessings and love through dancing and light up the brightest light in everyone's heart!
Join us on July 1st 2023, 18:00 at Stratford Youth Zone, Theatre Square, E15 1BX to enjoy stunning Chinese classical dances, folk dances, and contemporary dances performed by UKCPA teachers and students!

UKCPA is a dance academy based in London which specialises in Chinese classical dance and folk-dance but also provides education for Jazz, Hip-hop, contemporary dance and Ballroom dance both online and in the studio.
