Hi Josh, I was on your route at the same time on my motorbike and was extremely impressed by the performance of the participants. I had a few great conversations at Sonkul with two participants who dropped out. But the Japanese guy with his huge Ortlieb bags deserves the most respect. Well I’ve not ridden either of those so don’t know the route or races in too much detail. So would rather stick to events I’ve experienced so I actually know what I’m talking about!

Not not really much of either. Most animals you see are livestock of some kind.
