Hey Roy, you could add a 1k potentiometer to his positive lead and adjust it to the speed you want! Cool kit. Thanks for sharing. 😎🇨🇦

you can use technic with regular lego too so try the wall-e sillbird motor on regular wall-e

Great review. I almost bought this based on your review, then I realised that it uses a lipo battery. These should not be used in kids toys, they wouldn't meet safety standards in the west. Lipo's can catch fire easily if they are damaged, not charged properly or made cheaply. They can be fairly safe for adults that know what they are doing and are using good quality kit.

Typically LEGO go for about 0.10-.0.15 per piece, so the set would run about $43-$64. However, there are some exceptions, those with major brand crossovers (like Disney) Did find that the kids sets geared for younger audiences (junior sets) had really inflated prices especially for star wars.

Yeah but don't forget the motor, remote control and electronics. Lego's electronics are super expensive.

I got this wall-e Lego set, but im having problems with putting the gray things around the eyes. The first one i put on kinda bends the wheel/eye over and the second bottom one won't even go on completely so i cant even complete it. Can you help?
@outsider238 Жыл бұрын
The edge of the black wheel has to stick out further than the gray pieces that go around them.

@@outsider238 oh ok, ty but one more thing, in another comment I heard that the battery's used could catch fire or explode. Is that true?
@outsider238 Жыл бұрын
@P.t_comics_and_gaming I haven't heard anything about that. I haven't had any problems. I would say maybe not to leave it charging for too long after the battery is full? If that was a problem the item wouldn't even be on the market.

My son just built his but cannot get it to move. We charged the battery, turned it on and the controller is also on but red light is constantly flashing. Any ideas? Thx
@outsider238 Жыл бұрын
I just tried mine. The red light was only flashing on both the remote and the robot until I made it move. Then they stayed on solid. I honestly don't know why yours isn't working. Maybe try plugging the battery back onto the charger briefly and then plugging it back into the robot? Maybe that'll reset it somehow. I wish I could help.

@cristinagonzalez6678 I'm sorry I wish I could help. It's possible the electronics are faulty. It's been a while since I built this so I don't have the instructions anymore to look them over.
@andrewison219411 ай бұрын
It may be that you have not switched on the switch at the back of the robot. That or the internal battery is no good.. our Robot worked fine but when the battery finally went dead the remote only flashes red now until it is charged again or the switch is turned back on on the robot. Check those two areas
@emygee1972 Жыл бұрын
You can adjust speed for this but only through the app which is not very intuitive tbh 3 speeds are available in the app

Hi there, im the biggest fan of your WALL-E videos so if i subscribe can you do two things for me, 1. buy the $30 lego compatible educational "Edison" robot, its orange and small / short but very advanced for a steal of $30+ and its so cool and attach it to the base of the regular lego wall-e bringing him to life, but not the sillbird one? 2.) do a video on it with wall-e connected? ty!! 🙂
@shelbyforthright6972 жыл бұрын
Also can you connect the motor / brain from sillbird wall-e to power the other lego WALL-E cause i want to see if it works if i buy it and if it fits....pls help =)

@@shelbyforthright697 I'm not sure the Sillbird motors would work with the Lego Wall-e. I wouldn't know how to modify it. I'm not familiar with the Edison robot. I'd have to look into that.
