How do you run off and grab ledge instantly? I see top players doing it effortlessly. I can’t figure it out, everything I do makes me quick fall or drop a pretty good chunk of distance before I can grab ledge.

Go on the right side of the ledge and do that with the joy stick As quick as you can ➡️⬇️⬅️ Some character can just side b to the ledge it's easier like mario can cape on the ledge, the cape will be cancelled. And like young link he grab the ledge with the grab bouton. (Hope you will understand il learning english so that's my "maximum" capacity lol)

Games are made to be enjoyed, if players want to get sweaty and compete against other, like-minded players that's cool. Doom wasn't made to be speedrun, but it is, and it's dope as hell
