I’ve watched this on repeat so many times. Finally caved after seeing this show up on my YT home page since its release and gave it a listen. Seeing that feedback is asked for I thought I'd leave mine. Almost EVERYTHING about this video is perfect. Scrolling the comments I've seen one other person bring my issue with the video up though, and it's the lack of vocal balancing. Maybe not so much balancing, but the vocal effects at minimum make the song hard to understand at best, unintelligible at worst. Even with subtitles I found understanding the lyrics an issue and had to replay the same section in several parts of the video to not re-watch, but re-*read* what was said. The lyricism, added ANIMATION (which isn't something ANY Silly Billy WL cover has done to my knowledge), and story focus are all amazing. The writing doesn't feel out of character either which is great. 10/10 in all of those departments. I did skip out on mentioning the RecD stuff, but I did notice and have read the other comments and I'll also say that the deep-cut homage is amazing; real great attention to detail. TLDR; Watched the video through all the way. Peak video through and through (amazing writing from y'alls team again by the way), but even with headphones understanding the lyrics can be next to impossible sometimes. Solid 9/10 overall.

Person who headed audio production (and VAd Yourself!) here: Genuinely thank you for your descriptive feedback on the audio! It's refreshing to hear actual constructive criticism about how the video sounded beyond just simply saying "too quiet". To briefly describe why it sounds the way it does: Silly Billy's instrumental can be best described as a wall of sound that buckles under its own weight. The issue with mixing this song was making the vocals sit in the mix while making the instrumental not be overpowered by the vocals. It was extremely tricky to work with Billy's instrumental, so at the time this was the best we could do in terms of balance. I'm regardless very proud of my production and vocal work in this video, even if the latter part isn't talked about much haha. For future videos, this shouldn't be an issue again, but that's ultimately for you guys to judge. I'm very glad that you otherwise enjoyed it though!

Honestly :P you scratched an itch I had. A lot of people make lyrics for this song, but it was just Billy. Its a rap, its meant to be two people. And I had considered a few ways of doing it, love your solution. A lot of the time their words almost sync during their fight, or closely mimic each other. This felt like what the game aimed for, as closely tied to the creator's intent. Plus some of the phrases like the words bouncing off the glass pane! At 00:40 you can see different versions of BF alongside yourself in cracked parts of a mirror. so im guessing he could have went to any universe to rap with any version of BF. And then at 00:50 the first of the custom animations start and holy fuck it's so cool.
