0:35 That happened when I was a kid! Only, it was a foal about three months old. She came RUNNING up to the barn, but someone had closed the 'fence' (two poles with barbed wire between them). She hit the wire at a dead run and did a complete summersault-flip and just laid there. Once the screaming stopped, we ran over to her. The first person that touched her, she JUMPS up and is in shock. We called the vet to come out. A few little cuts from the barbed wire, no stitches and, thankfully, she was just fine.

That horse enjoying his owner’s scratching reminds me of when I was at riding school. I went to the upper barns where the Advanced riders took their horses to watch what was going on and there was Big Ben. He was a huge Bay! That’s why I remember him so well. He was bigger than my favorite, Rex, who had a wicked sense of humor for a horse. When Big Ben was groomed with a brush he did the same thing with his mouth and head and neck. It was hysterical watching him contort in his enjoyment of being brushed.
