hahaha dear lord, the post office should definitely fire ace ventura! oh noooo, that poor package became a DISASTER :O the best jam got ruined: it was nice apricot jam, for the cake recipe... 8( fun fact: we hungarians make alcohol out of every possible existing fruit, so we combine everything with alcohol X) not saying we're alcoholics, but we kinda are... X) the candy with the fancy flagged box was plums, not dates. plums are a big deal in hungary, we put them in everything, and again a "plum brandy" (szilva pálinka) is very traditionally hungarian. hahaha and the fun begins from 20:00, those facial expressions... had to laugh out loud. great music composed at the end XD maybe all the hidden alcohol and Hungarian Dance No. 5 kicked in at last X) i'm glad you had fun, I sure did watching you guys, thank you for making this video ^^

Including the wine bottle was a bad idea, I'm pretty sure that smashed in the jar as it was thrashing around. Also, one measly layer of of bubble wrap isn't much compared to a free-roaming glass bottle's weight.

i live abroad, so when i visited hungary i had very little time to buy the things, pack & send them, and sadly in the store i couldn't find a proper size of "rézangyal" to fit the package 8( i found "fütyülős", but that's not real pálinka X)

This made me so happy, I don't know why. I always feel like this, when foreigners get to know us, Hungarians a little better :) Even only our food. I wish I could send you a real Gulyás soup :D Interesting fact: the Balaton chocolate was named after our biggest lake, Balaton :D (never knew why) And Egri Bikavér (which means Bullblood from Eger) is our best wine :) Very well "composed" package!

Chocolate with cherry liquor is my FAVOURITE! As a Croatian living in Australia we can only get these from “European/continental” butchers so they are a treat for us but my family love them!!

I met a hungarian man (big man) in one of our more common food/conveinent store (hemköp, Sweden) He was packing chocolate bars, buying them in bulk (40-50 in one buy) from the brand Marabou, and while I don't judge at all, one of the best brands there is, I could clearly tell he thought the same ^ ^ Come all hungarians and eat our chocolate, top 5 in the world! Good vid guys, nice job!

You can find Marabou in german supermarkets as well (Kaufland, Stuttgart) Milka has like 20 sorts alongside and then you see the golden package with swedish text "mjölkchoklad".

Chio and Haribo are not hungarian, i dont know why you got them as hungarian candy. But you got some real hungarian candys, like Balaton and Sport szelet. By Sport szelet you tasted something, that was rum. We use often rum with chocolate or nuts, also in some cakes. Try Túró Rudi too, the original, bec. thats the best with only sweet farmcheese inside and chocolate outside. In winter at Xmas time try Szaloncukor too, they are great. There are tipical hungarian cakes named: Dobos Torta, Rákóczi Túrós, Eszterházy Torta, Kürtős Kalács, try them too. You can get them nearly in every sweet-shops in Hungary.
