The last really great Christmas on BBC One... after this there Xmas idents sucked!! I bet this year will suck too now they do that boring togetherness thing.

I like this ident but what is it with the continuity presenter talking about a horrific scenario in Casualty over quite an upbeat ident. I mean, this isn’t even the first time they showed an upbeat ident and described a horrific scenario from Casualty over it. Couldn’t BBC One just say “Casualty Now” instead of having to tell us about something horrific which is going to happen which doesn’t fit in with the vibe. BBC One, I appreciate your descriptions of the show but maybe do a detailed description of a storyline when there’s not such a jolly ident!
