WHAT IS BLUE'S BEST POSSIBLE TEAM!? Champion Blue's Evolution In The Pokémon Games [TRUE POWER]

Blue, the former Champion of the Kanto Indigo Plateau Pokemon League and current Gym Leader of Viridian City is stronger than we thought. It's time to look at his evolution in the main series Pokemon games and figure out his strongest & best team by looking at all of Blue's Pokemon and all battles in the timeline from Kanto, Johto, Alola Battle Tree, and more!
Leading into Pokémon Sword & Shield and with Pokemon Masters release, it's important to know how strong the trainers we've seen in the series are. We're going to take a look at Gym Leaders, Rivals, Elite 4 Members, Champions, etc. and figure out their TRUE POWER.

Even though it isn't that strong, I love the fact that Blue still has pidgeot in almost all his teams, because it was the first pokemon he caught (not counting the starters). Which kinda shows that despite everyhting he still cared about his pokemons deep down.

Not only Pidgeot, but I like how Blue has his own Grass-Fire-Water core in Exeggutor, Arcanine and Gyarados. I never associate any of the starters with him, mainly because Red uses them all during the Mt. Silver battle, but Blue's core is equally as awesome.

When i think in Blue's team, that comes to my mind: *Mega Pidgeot as his strongest pokemon and sweeper *Alakazam as the glass cannon sweeper *Rhydon/Rhyperior as the rock type tank *Gyarados as a bulky water type *Exeggutor as a bulky grass type *Arcanine as the fire type and swizz knife

I don't think he ever showed contempt for his pokemon. In fact, he gives off the impression that he heavily values his pokemon, since he never blames his loses on his pokemon(other than his first loss, and even then, he may not have meant it since he goes out to train instead of switching his starter) and even outright blames himself for losing a couple of times.

I feel like Blue should have had his Mega Pidgeot. I know Pidgeot isn’t a great Pokémon, but it’s his signature by a landslide. If this were the anime, the friendship bond alone would make it his best Pokémon.

Tala B I get what your saying mate but Pokemon masters isn’t the anime. Ever since Red, Blue and Yellow the games have dropped his Blastoise. But if we’re following his cannon story he gets a starter from his grandfather professor oak and is normally depicted as choosing Squirtle after Red picks Charmander and then catches Pidey as his second Pokémon. Pigeot has always been on his team. But only since silver and gold has it replaced Blastoise as his main.

Therefore, it is canon that is original starter was charizard and red has a Venusaur. Also, Leave Venusaur. ALONE! It's the strongest when it comes to special attack.

I take him lightly and every other tranier in he pokemon universe, because the game is aimed at 5 year olds. Anyone older than 5 can solo every pokemon game without even trying. Pokemon is legitimately the most pathetically easy game thats ever existed. Seriously. I can rape Blue with literally any pokemon, only 1 pokemon. Because guess what. Everyone else in the world has level 100 pokemon, not level 70 pokemon lol. The only time they'd be a somewhat meaningful challenge is in a pre-set level 50 challenge, in which case, guess what, you can predict his team, and just counter it. Because Blue and every other trainer in the world only uses like, 6 pokemon out of like, 10 that they own. We on the other hand. Have literally 800 pokemon each. We've al lcaught every legendary, including celibi, mew, and jirachi, effortlessly, they arent even hard to get anymore. Yo ucan effortlessly catch every legendary, i turn 1'd a zapdos with a pokeball. done and done. easiest fucking game ever made. oh no. you're a strong trainer? Guess ill lead with mewtwo. and end with mewtwo. because as a player, im allowed to have mewtwo. sucks to be any npc that doesnt have mewtwo, sorry ur raped. oh no legendaries as a challenge? k i use level 100 alakazam, calm mind, recover, psychic, ice beam. gg. doesnt even matter because at level 100 you one shot everything thats not level 100, only red had a pokemon that was 81. who you still one shot. lmao. why people think these trainers are good? they are trash. if you arent using all 100's why are you bothering. dude these games are so pathetically easy my little sister, at like, 8 year old, got her first pokemon game. and by the 2nd gym, she'd already traded for a team of 6 level 100 shiny legendaries. HER FIRST POKEMON GAME. BY HER SECOND GYM. And that's how shit pokemon is today. get fucked blue. my 8 year old sister can literally rape you without trying. been saying this for years, pokemon needs a hard mode for adults.

The only problem I have with this is sooo many of Blue's best possible team, especially his first 3 powerhouses has a 4x weakness to a type like charizard to rock, gyarados to electric, and tyranitar to fighting (which is a shame because I LOVE charizard and tyranitar) not to mention rhyperior is 4x weak to TWO types being water and grass lol.

Team update: Arcanine. Zapdos. Gyarados. Rhyperior. Mega Alakazam. Venusaur. I'm on the fence though for the mega. Pidgeot would work well but adds another electric and rock weakness, but Zapdos' hurricane (if it knows it) is made terrible in Sunny weather. But Mega Arodactyl is also a good choice, with the same downside.

Here’s what I love about Blue calling out Gold/Ethan for looking like Red. They both give off the same aura. And that’s not the only time in series it happens either! Cynthia compares Lucas/Dawn to Hilbert/Hilda! Of course capturing Giratina is leagues more impressive than catching Reshiram/Zekrom.

The Tauros is Ash’s from the show. He gave a bunch to Oak and Gary would go on to adopt the alpha bull since it was causing problems on the ranch.
