I am from your 'Dushman Desh' and I have taken it in the same manner as you have referred to Zia Ul Haq as your 'Mehboob'. 😊 Thank you for a wonderful talk and an equally interesting Q & A interaction. I am one among those who is not well versed in any of the local languages including my mother tongue Kannada and am of course not proud of this fact. The problem you mentioned is prevalent here as well and English being an alien language we are not well versed in this as well. So you can see the degradation of our culture and society if you go through our social media posts. And as rightly pointed out towards the end, thanks to the internet, we are using it to enrich ourselves by using it to check for meaning and in some cases for pronunciation besides watching, listening and reading the masters across languages that we know a bit....like I took a realtime of almost three and a half hours to watch this video because I had to go back and forth using Google Translate to translate those Urdu words which I did not know...and there were plenty. Dr Arifa Syeda is no doubt an asset to this nation. But, with all said in this video we need to deliberate upon those reasons / causes which are behind the decadence of our national heritage; urdu language. Why we are doing this or what can be the probable way forward to revive urdu as a living language ??? its just a humble question not criticism at all... thanks
