INCORRECT! - Azzopardi is an Italian surname of Lombard origin, now naturalized in Italy, Malta, Greece and France in the form Azzopardi (written in various documents as Azupardu, Azuparda (in the 1419 militia list), Aczupard, Zupard (1480 militia list), Azzupard, Azzoppardo, Azzopardo, Azzopardi, Azzoppardi, Zoppardo, Zopardo, in the Status Animarum or church census of 1687). It still occurs in Northern Italy in the form Azzopardo (mainly in Julian Venetia), in Sicily in the forms Zuppardo, Zuppardi and in Corfu, Greece "Ατσοπάρδης". It derives from a combination of the Langobardic Italian names Azzo meaning 'noble' and Pardo, originally the name of a Germanic tribe (the Bardi); see E. De Felice, Dizionario dei cognomi italiani, Milano: Arnoldo Mondadori, 1978, p. 64. A Genoese notary of the 13th century bore the name Ogerius Açopardus. This being one of the oldest Italian surnames, introduced by one or more Christian settlers from Sicily some time between the thirteenth and the fifteenth century. (Wikipedia) Some would regard Azzopardi as ethnic, associating it with the word Sephardic referring to an Oriental Jew, but the separate existence of Accio and Pardo as surnames in the twelfth century counsels caution in reaching premature conclusions. Tidhru ghalfejn hallewkom hemm ta' xarabank! Min jaqbel mal-qtil ta' tarbija innocenti ghamel hafna gid, igifieri? Min kisser l-ordni naturali ghamel hafna gid? Min farrak il-familji ghamel hafna gid? Min zeblah il-bandiera maltija billi zied maghha sitt kuluri ohra li ma kienux hemm ghamel hafna gid? U finalment intom qed taghmlu hafna gid, li ghentu biex f'din is-socjeta tinzergha il-gidba tal-libertinagg u l-importanza tal-mument? Niskanta pero kif qatt ma kelkom il-gazz tistaqsu lil dawn li ghamlu hafna 'gid' ghaliex kienu tant kontra l-ewropa xi darba meta llum il-'gid' li qed timmeritawhom bih huma kollha ordnijiet gejjin mill-ewropa, ordnijiet illi jekk ma jobdux jispiccaw ibaghtu personalment billi ma jihdux pozizzjonijiet gholja u perkacci ohrajn. Perezempju issa Misery lestietu l'assignment taghha u tefawha kummissarju. Issa dahal l-iehor li kien next in line. Tafu tajjeb x'qed nghid. Fl-istess hin lill-poplu naghmuh b'definizzjoni qarrieqa ta' x'hini mibeghda razzjali imma fl-istess hin ghax nafu x'tip ta' poplu dan, nghidulu bilmod il-mod li l-qtil ta' tarbija hu dritt! U dan il-poplu jaccettah ghax bassa! Irid ikun bhal barrani ghax dejjem haseb li ahna anqas.

Malta saret corrupt bhal pajjizzi didtaturi. Malta is a beautiful place to be or use to be, but came to reiuns. [Xarabank] progress done by corruption is not progress at all but only brings oppression.

Fr Israel won those lands that was stolen from them, and that God gave them read the bible according to the matter, as God blessed Israel, and will continue to destroy all who come against it, it is written and it will be done. Why did He promise that the deserted land would bring forth honey? Because He blessed it, but many have reduced the land of Israel to a tiny patch, as they stole their land. God will bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse it. All Israel will be saved, as Jesus will win the land God promised to them when He comes to rule and reign from there.
