But, how good is it as a generalist? Most Relic stages are supposed to be mixed because the main intent of Relics and their curse is to disable abilities against other traits. Just look at Queen Mother V's stage, for example. Reds on the other hand, easily dominate most of the stages they appear in lategame because they are supposed to be the main melee pushers since they are difficult to stagger.

@@andreiryancaballero7422 royal guard is not super generalist unit like Manju, Maglev, or Stone. It's still a gimmicky unit like the majority Advent units. And his gimmick is big DPS for cheap cost. Like I'm sure on general use, you will stick on old units like Slapsticks, Chill Cat, Seafarer, Uril, etc. But when you need to generate quick focussed DPS that doesn't eat too much cash, Royal Guard is what you want.

Royal Guard does actually hold its own against Chill. It has 70% more dps, a decent bit more HP, and more speed. Chill has more range and outranges Gregory while Royal Guard can't, but that's about it.

Chill Cat is slower and costs much more. Royal Guard can be used as a disposal rusher for targetted removal of Aliens. I have started using it over Chill which I only used vs Cyberhorns and Star Pengs in the first place and it has been a lot more comfortable to use due to his sheer disposabilty.

2 months late but uh, cool things that you might also do You can use future cat + vodka's tf to get a speed up combo, which it's pretty helpful imo As siluman quite questioned in the description, iron wall's foundation isn't that needed at all, since the only one which seems affected it's cone cat, but he is pretty spammable, other units are wave imnune lol

I'm sure PONOS is preparing something, preferably at 14.0. So my guess is there will be another merciless advent revenge stage for at least one more advent cats at 13.7, then 14.0 is the showdown of secret UL stage in similar fashion to Idi stage. The reward could be either idi true form or new unit (maybe sage targetting?) If it's Idi true form, adding behemoth slayer would make sense.

@@CursedXyster When I see "survive after attack", for me it means "take direct hit and survive" and not being in enemy's attack range to begin with. I know that its +40 range and not hp. And I know that slime is oftenly dead after his attack, and that range make big difference.

Considering it has long been the end of UL, yes. Wth IDI True Form possibly being the final nail in the coffin. However, it still takes quite a lot of work to get these units anyways (Heavenly Tower TF, UL Legends TF, Brutal stages, etc.)
