I am an artist from Germany and because of my Multiple Sclerosis and resulting severe disabilities, I sadly can‘t work anymore to have a regular income. Just having my disability-retirement, these silver art clays always were way to expensive for me, to just mess around with and make jewellery and such. When I searched, if there was a way to make such clay myself, your video came up. This is amazing and gives me (at least a tiny bit) hope, that I can work with silver clay in the future. 😅 Thank you very much for sharing this and many greetings from Düsseldorf! Chris

@@Gasp7000 not if the process is a lie. My remark was not about artistic merit. I'm baffled as to how you missed that point.. if I say I'm going to make a solid gold item out of butter and sand. And show mixing the components adding heat or waving a stick over it. Then show the finished item that is totally bogus.

How did you make your kiln?

My home made kilns die after 5 or 6 firings. So i don't plan to make a tutorial any time soon. Need to do some improvements first.

Amazing science project but I don’t think it would be safe in my hands so I will just carry on buying the ready made! I would probably blow the house up! Lol😂

Yes! you have to have a little know how about chemistry. I spilled a whole beaker with silver nitrate on my sofa a while back. The first few days nothing was visible. But after light hits it the sofa turned black. :-(

Recipe, recipe and one more time recipe. Everything made "more less". It will be great if is shown with balance and real concentration of every ingredients.

I've seen people use oil/hand lotion when working with silver clay from the shops
