This doll is based on one of Andy Warhol's muses and "Superstars" in the 60's, Edie Sedgwick. Edie was very young and certainly not an old lady. She was a forest fire.

Edmund, I just got my Silver Cloud Poppy today and I’m totally loving her! After playing with her for Hours, I just accidentally discovered that her coat has shallow pockets, just deep enough to stick her hands in so she can hold the coat open to reveal her sparkly outfit. Check it out! Also, because Poppy’s hair is so short, I’ve been able to style her with a couple of different wigs! I Love this Poppy! I’m so happy that you reviewed her - thank you 😊

screaming at the breaking news! Ari Kiki is innocent! I mean, is it her fault if Alysa lost her wig in a stupor and Ari found it later on innocently?! I don't think so! LOL It definitely feels interesting to think about what a present day Poppy might look like because it can go all sorts of ways, though with her bold love of color I could easily see her taking a styling nod from Iris Apfel just as much as Carmen Dell'Orifice lol. Not my personal style for Poppy but she definitely came out really cool.
