Silver Eagle field strip and cleaning

Don't ever try replacing out the pistol grip with an AR grip. They should really put a warning on that. No documentation shows how to remove the trigger assembly to get to the bolt after you try to replace it out and realize that you can't put the original pistol grip back on. Support says it's really, really hard to do although I'll give them credit they responded to my email within 15 minutes.

Wow thanks for the info brother !!! I will pin it so maybe someone else doesnt do that lol. They do have really good customer service, I do alot of videos with gun even got a drum magazine for it. I got to work on my safety switch after many many many slugs it broke ☠😵☠

I can say for sure but I'm willing to say they are similar, would only make sense. The rz 17 is the pump action correct? Take down would be similar, take the end cap off and pump action will come off and the barrel should come off then also. If you need further help I can definitely find out for sure 👍

So my shotgun won't cycle threw a mag without jamming. it's brand new fresh out the box . 40 rounds not one mag made it threw. 3" steel slugs 3" buckshot 2 3/4 bird shot . Had several soft strikes also . What could be the problem ?

Could you provide more information? What is it doing when it jams? Is it failure to extract? Bolt sticks open? Doesn't cycle the entire way after the shot? I'll look to, one guy I was talking to had a similar problem and it was something stupid. But give me a little more information and I look to.

Won't eject shell after I fire . It will try to load 2 shells at once .

The bolt is hard to close when a clip is in . But if it is open with no clip it is smooth . It won't close with my 9 round clip

Got one of these, and I can't remove the upper from the lower - instructions are useless - the pictures shown don't line up with the instructions, and they show a different model.

I'll look I did a video on how to do that, I'll find it and link it in here. You got to take the rubber butt plate off the stock and there is a allen key head bolt way down in there will need a long extension to reach it

thread is a .721 Bore size with a Whitworth 55 degree 40G OD (Outside Diameter) thread.

I do believe so. Not 100% sure on the metric conversion but that sounds about right . Welcome to the shooting community!!! Its alot of fun, I really enjoy just getting out there and having fun with family and friends. You can have tons of fun with a semi auto 12 gauge

Thanks for the comment and question. That is just one I had laying around. Its mounts to the picatinny rail . You can buy a picatinny rail for the rz17 it mounts to the bottom of the front grip, then you can mount anything you want

I'm away right now but will be home tomorrow and the gun is long long long over due for a cleaning so I'll show a detailed video on how to take it apart clean it and put it back together 👍 . It's the one that came with the gun, they make a couple different model's. That one is the se122 tactical they also have a tac pro and just the se122 I think just the regular se has a different hand guard

Wow that is quite a shotgun .. jus my luck I get it all apart An wouldn’t ever get it back together lol.. do you use a lot for duck or goose hunting or jus target as in skeet clay shooting .. don’t know if ya got my last message but I’m not doing well again with my health .. my disease is attacking my kidneys an feet spent all day Wednesday till late being in hospital on more meds at home but praying things will change an let up for me .. hope all is going good for you looks like you have a very unique gun collection.. 👍

I ended up in hospital an my specialist an her team got me feeling some better enough to be back home now .. been a few bad weeks for me an some close calls but with the help from excellent doctors an the good lord I’m on the road to recovery .... an ya I used to do the same thing befor I had my illness .. only I was a big crown royal fan .. lol.. but now I can’t even have the least little sippie as it don’t mix with my medications.. I use to do a a lot of duck an goose hunting out on a few local lakes close by ..built my own blinds outa cedar to fit right around the 12 foot boat An was always pretty successful..buddies of mine nick name me Hammer as I’d hammer that old 12 gauge pump off an not let nothing get by me .. use to do a lot of sporting clay an skeet An trap shooting with my uncle at his gun club he belong too.. so the poor old birds didn’t stand much of a chance lmao .. I miss it badly .. anyways thanku for your concern of how I’m doing I appreciate it an hoping continue to keep improving as I want to get out for little backroad drive an see some scenery with all the fall colours of the trees here very colour full leaves this year an maybe see some deer too.. stay safe fella .. 👍

I did a updated video where I show putting it back together, it's pretty straight forward. About every 200 to 400 rounds I clean mine, its pretty dirty up by then
