If i'm just starting out with outdoor sports photography, would you recommend the silver interior or the white interior. I do already have 2 deep focus reflectors. Thanks!

The moment you put a diffusor on it, it will be just a softbox, not a beauty dish.

No not really. A softbox doesn’t have a deflector plate to eliminate the hot spot. All beauty dishes have a diffusion option.
