This technique is not as easy (for me) as it looks, though Lowell Speers is one of the better art tutors on KZbin. He does take the trouble to explain and demonstrate his brush strokes and to emphasize the areas where problems might occur. I really enjoy his tutorials and practising his methods.

oh that jacket and the shades! Would LOVE it if AA could put the dates of shooting or airing on these videos. The "info" here is generic and doesn't even speak of the artist. Nowell seems a bit rigid here, like he's not comfy with the camera yet. I'll bet it's an earlier work than most that I've seen here.

I believe this aired in 1987 “Art of William Alexander & Lowell Speers” [the one where they filmed outdoors] Lowell became a regular in this series; whereas in the season before he appeared for maybe 3 episodes “Art of William Alexander” 1st series Lowell Speers & Diane Andre appeared but were mentioned at the end of the opening credits as guest painters if memory serves me
