I've always loved silver scent, and I have to agree that the reformulation smells much better. It's unfortunate it's not as long lasting as it used to be but the performance is still satisfactory. People love to call it a childish fragrance because of the grape soda vibe but I honestly disagree! It's not overly sweet in my opinion, and although it can be worn by young club-goers, it still works for somebody looking for something more mature. Really glad you mentioned its reformulation. I love the Lapidus Pour Homme vibe that I found with Al Rehab Lord so I'm kind of curious about Jaques Bogart Pour Homme now! I'm in my 20s but I've found I almost always enjoy more mature fragrances. With new stores opening nearby I should definitely go out and see if I can get a sample 🤔. Happy new year Marco!

You are totally right and i agree 100% on what you wrote but there is a reason that Silver Scent have a Youth kind of reputation because when it was release it was a synthetic bomb ,loud to a point that if somebody was wearing it in the office, automatically complaints was literally raining on him and in discotheque when you was wearing it and sweating even everybody was trying to wear a louder fragrance than you , Silver Scent always won this battle. but the reformulation is so much better,very pleasant and much more versatile The Lord by Al Rehab edp. is also an amazing fragrance👍

Most of Bogart fragrances are beast mode and they are very affordable,my favourite is Silver Scent deep and Pure .

In my opinion Bogart pour homme is more refined and masculine 👍 for fall and winter 🥶🌡️ exclusively! I trying my best to explain indeed by comparing it to other fragrances, at least to me it 's more easy to get a virtual taste of the fragrance. Hello dear Fidel, thanks for your comments 👍 No offense, I personally dislike Story Blue , the citrus note is way to synthetic and the scent is not refined to my nose . About Silver Scent Pure , after a year of maceration, I really like it even more than when I bought it a year ago, I gave it a note before of 6.5 and now 7.5/10

Thanks bro for your comments 🙏🏼 Silver Scent is less synthetic now than when it was released and it is a pleasant and affordable scent 7/10 About Bogart pour Homme 9/10, well imagine bro , Kouros by YSL(or Ted Lapidus pour Homme) mixt with Naxos ( or Pure Havane) and you got Bogart pour Homme but only in the dry down as I mentioned ! But 2 sprays for you bro is more than enough. Yes it is a long lasting, just a little bit synthetic scent but perfect as I mentioned for the cold weather only, fall and winter ❄️🥶⛄ Not hot temperatures at all 🤣

Silver scent before reformulation was a beast mode fragrance but so, so synthetic and to me very annoying but lasted 12 hours on my skin and 2 days on my shirt when it was released and project enormously unfortunately but now it just long lasting but after Maceration it is surprisingly a pleasant fruity / woody scent But the best without any doubts for me is Bogart pour homme,only for colder days and also after Maceration, it is very beautiful scent that resemble also to insurrection II Wild by Reyane Tradition that got additional honey 🍯 note.

​​@@marco4uperfumes708 both of these arrived today in my latest haul. On the dry down, Silver Scent reminds me of very specifically of grape candy. For someone like me, my initial feeling is it's definitely more suited to climate controlled environments and warmer-but-not-hot temperatures. I feel like, for me, it doesn't match up with the attitude that comes with dressing in layers to stay warm. Bogart Pour Homme, is very nice. Much better than I expected for the price tag! Thanks Marco! EDIT: Also worth mentioning, I'd read online that recent year Pour Homme formulations were fairly weak compare to just a couple years ago... So I went with testers, figuring they would be older than full presentation batches. The Pour Homme tester I got was from 2020 and seems to perform just fine so far. Hopefully the first wearing proves as much.

By the way I also layering silver scent with Oud for glory , first I spray 3 spritz of Oud for Glory than 1 of Silver Scent and strangely I got some Vibes of atomic rose by Initio 😉

But then there's that whole 'rose' thing that scares me almost as much as oud does lol. I already have one, maybe I'll at least give Oud for Glory a shot on my next haul. Thanks!

@@russellborrego1689 if your are light on the trigger, Oud for Glory is a masterpiece, in my opinion more woody than Oudy, suitable for cooler days or going out in the evening, as you understand, I personally love it a lot but this must not be a blind buy !

@Marco 4 U Perfumes There is a deal for SC Midnight in my country for just 18e (100ml). That is crazy ! Have you tried that one? And, according to Fragrantica, it's quite good (rating) and very long lasting fragrance, yes ofc synthetic but what you expect. Looks like it's got that SC DNA but with a touch of Y YSL, Wanted Azzaro and One milion. I mean, with that kind of price, you can't go wrong for blind buy even if u hate it.

Hello and thanks for your comments dear Ivan Nikolendzic 🙏🏼 I had Silver Scent Midnight in my collection 3 years ago , I like it, it is a more green take on the OG SC but if I remember correctly, it last less , 18$ ,yeah good value proposition 👍 Personally I slightly prefer the Deep or Pure that are a little bit less synthetic but for 18$ you can not complain, it's a bargain 🤑 . In a few days I will review a few affordable great fragrances in a row, I will be please to read your comments 🤚✋

I tried it in a mall today and man that does smell beautifull, but it's twice the price (38e) here on disc. I told you about Chrome Extreme which is also nice, but i ended liking Pure even more. It's like the nicest orange/coconut or tonka sweet based sunscreen.

@dzigi05 thanks, I appreciate 🙏🏼. to my nose, no offense but not really, Azzaro Chrome Pure is a masterpiece that doesn't meets the success it deserves, I looooooooooove it, it reminds me JPG Le Beau EDT. but the Azzaro is a better fragrance , the citruses and the coconut 🥥 & Tonka bean notes are quality oils , it's aquatic , floral,woody ,musky, a magical formula, the lasting on my skin was 4 hours but on my shirt around 7 . I regret giving it , sometimes my friends that visiting me , they going back home with a bottle of my collection and sometimes,I forgot a birthday and no time to go shopping so...lol 😉

Hello Angelo's Lead Vlogs and welcome. The reformulated version of Silver Scent lasts on my skin after maceration 6 hours to 8 hours on my cotton shirt but you need a minimum of 10 spritz ( prefer to spray it 2 times on the same spot ) Be aware that before letting it macerate, it last 4 hours on my skin and 6 on my 👕. Hi,Marco ✋ silver scent has been reformulated badly and watered down a lot absolutely garbage very weak no projection at all longevity very very poor i tried to macerate it but failed 🤮 to my nose Jaques Bogart Pour Homme is far away better still a monster 💪projects like crazy 4 first 2-3 hours and lasts from 6 to 8 hours on my skin but not right from the box so it also need to be macerated as well

Hello 1 of a kind. I recently also heard that a few Jacques Bogart's fragrances got reformulated again, it's a pity and also heard and read that Bogart pour Homme is discontinued in some countries, I hope that it is temporary! It will be a strategic mistake for this brand that got their aficionados ,that love their creations , the affordable prices and count on the legendary longevity of their fragrances.
