Barbara Bain: My name is Barbara Bain, and I’m playing Eve.
Movie Clip: Everything is my fault, including that. That’s my fault, right? Five hundred and fifty thousand dollars! I prefer staying. Where are we going to get that kind of money? (exasperated sigh) Huh? I’ll ask the kids. You will not do that!
Barbara Bain: There’s an event that everything changes around, and that happens to Eve. And she’s kind of a fairly flip but in charge lady up until that moment. So there is a change. It changes her and everybody.
Movie Clips: Did you and Mickey decide what you’re going to do? Well, I know I’m putting up a good fight. I knew you would.
Barbara Bain: Acting for me is a bit like touching time. Not stop it, just touch it because you’re so there doing it. I started as a dancer. I was not an actress. I went to New York to study with (Martha) Graham. Deeply, deeply enriching as an experience to work with the master teachers that I had, Graham, Lee Strasberg as an acting teacher, and I would wish that to any young person pursuing the arts.

Barbara Bain: And I’m very active in the Actor’s Studio still here. I’ve been directing theatre, very good actors. I teach a private class, as well. That’s the piece of me that keeps cooking all these years. It’s a wonderful script by the way. All of the characters are very well drawn.
Movie Clip: You know this isn’t going to change anything. I mean the next time we have our meeting, our lawyer is going to be here. Lawyers or no lawyers, you cannot stop the sale.
Barbara Bain: I’m very impressed with the woman who wrote it and is directing it.
